The Grail Blog

It's Time to Play ... FAMILY FEUD -- (Medieval Style)

Here we have the story of what could be the true Holy Grail, backed up by historical documents, with its path outlined nearly from the Table of the Last Supper all the way to where it currently sits in the Basilica of San Isidoro in León Spain. At least on the surface. If 25 years of research in this field has taught me anything, it’s that if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. However, I can honestly say if there is an obvious weak link in this chain of evidence, I can’t see it at present. Not to say there isn’t one, and that this evidence is irrefutable, but it certainly looks very convincing. As always, we have to dig a little deeper than just what we’re told to get a fuller picture of the chain of events leading up to this story, and the world from which it came. For that, we have to look at Medieval Spain. Read More…

The Chalice of Doña Urraca

urraca 1

In 2014, I learned about the Chalice of Doña Urraca of León Spain. At that time, I was planning the "Great Grail Expedition of 2014" — my trip through Europe filming for my documentary. I had planned on stopping by León while walking the Camino de Santiago, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. In 2015, my lovely wife Melanie bought me the book that outlined the story behind the enigmatic chalice which is the latest newcomer to the world of the Holy Grail legend. After reading it, I realized that an all new arena of study had opened up before me. Read More…

The Two Marys

The Biblical figure of Mary Magdalene has become inexorably linked with the legend of the Holy Grail, but in recent years, it has become something of it's own story. With the publication of Dan Brown's DaVinci Code and the following movie, and the earlier book, Holy Blood, Holy Grail, Mary Magdalene is in modern times portrayed as the "secret wife" of Jesus as well as the mother of his child, Sarah. This has lead to some fierce debate between the Christian community and those who are eager to accept something questions the Bible.

In this episode of the Grail Blog, I will not only deal with this modern phenomenon, I will take a closer look at Mary Magdalene in the Bible as well as a few associated characters who played a role, not only in Christ's Passion, but in the development of the Grail Legend. This blog post is a little… lengthy, but stick with me. I think it's well worth it. Read More…

St. Peter's Tomb

st peter's tomb crypt

I wanted to share with you this little YouTube video that I found while looking for information about Rome. It's about St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, or more correctly, St. Peter's Tomb, which is under St. Peter's Basilica. This has been debated for years, much like the site of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre being built over the site of Jesus's tomb. However, this video really sheds some light on the subject that may not be very widely known unless you've done your homework. Read More…

The Fate of Joseph's Cruets

As some of you may know, I’ve written a third book about my research on the Grail Legend. I am more pleased with this book and what it contains than I was with my first one, which as a first time writer was quite a buzz for quite a while! haha. In any event, I feel this is nearly the culmination of my life’s work, BUT....... Read More…
